Feel Bikini-Ready This Summer with Noninvasive SculpSure

Bikini-Ready Noninvasive SculpSure

Summer is drawing near and so is the time for you to break out your bikini. Don’t feel ready? Learn how SculpSure® can help you feel prepared and confident in a teeny two-piece bathing suit.

SculpSure can help you slim down and sculpt your figure without surgery or downtime. If you’ve been dieting and exercising but not seeing results you want, or if you’re naturally slim but have bumps and bulges that bother you, SculpSure can help you feel better about your body by summer.

What is SculpSure?

SculpSure is an FDA-cleared laser-based treatment that uses targeted heat energy to penetrate deep into your skin to destroy unwanted fat cells while leaving surrounding areas unscathed. Clinical studies have found the procedure to be safe and effective.

The destroyed fat cells are flushed from your system, permanently and slowly, over the next several weeks after the treatment. One treatment can eliminate up to 24% of fat cells in a treated area.

For some people, several sessions may be required to achieve the desired results. Within a few weeks, you start to notice a flatter stomach or smaller hips and, eventually, see the full results in about three months.

But SculpSure is not a weight-loss procedure. It’s best for people who are within 30 pounds of their target body weight or have a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or less. At Los Gatos Dermatology, we recommend a healthy diet and regular exercise routine to optimize SculpSure results.

What areas can SculpSure treat?

One of the great benefits of SculpSure is that it can treat most areas on your body. SculpSure can destroy unwanted fat on the following body parts:

What should I expect during and after the procedure?

You don’t have to do any preparation before the procedure. During the brief 25-minute treatment, we secure the laser device over the treatment area. As the device cycles on and off to keep you comfortable, you may feel tingling and warming of the treated areas. Most people find the treatment comfortable and even relaxing.

After your treatment, you can return to your normal, everyday activities, whether that’s back to work or running around doing errands. You can even hit the gym. There are no activity restrictions.

There are few side effects and those are minor, such as redness, swelling, and tenderness in the treated area. Those issues should subside within a few hours to a couple of days. Staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water helps expedite the flushing away of fat cells.

If you want to be bikini-ready by summer, schedule your SculpSure treatment now so that your fat cells melt away and your body shrinks just in time to take a dip in the pool. Call Dr. Bruce Saal at Los Gatos Dermatology to learn more about SculpSure or to make an appointment.
